Sylvia A. Fraley, RDR/CRR, graduated from Jones Business College in Miami, Florida, where she was awarded the 1st Place National Barry Horne Award for Outstanding Student. Sylvia holds the designations of Registered Diplomate Reporter (which encompasses the Registered Merit Reporter and the Registered Professional Reporter) and Certified Realtime Reporter from the National Court Reporters Association. She is a member in good standing in the National Court Reporters Association and the Ohio Court Reporters Association.

Sylvia formed Fraley & Associates in Ohio in 1983, which was later incorporated. In 1995, the name was changed to Fraley, Cooper & Associates when James Cooper joined the firm. Jim retired in the late 1990s after 40+ years of working as a Court Reporter. Today, the firm simply is known as "Fraley Cooper."

Sylvia and her husband, Phil Rausch (aka Office Manager – Fraley Cooper), have three grown children, five grandchildren and six (yes, six) doggies! Sylvia's interests include theology and nutrition. In furtherance of her interest in theology, Sylvia graduated in 2008 from the Vineyard Leadership Institute in Columbus, Ohio.

 
       


Carol Kirk, RMR, graduated from the Academy of Court Reporting in Cleveland, Ohio and holds the designation of Registered Merit Reporter (which encompasses the Registered Professional Reporter designation) from the National Court Reporters Association. She is a member in good standing of the National Court Reporters Association. She has been associated with Fraley Cooper since 1995.

Carol lives in Dublin, Ohio and regularly attends St. Brigid of Kildare Parish with her husband, Jeff, and their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, scrapbooking and exercise.

 
       


Diane Schad graduated from Clark Technical College in Springfield, Ohio, and has been a Court Reporter for 28 years. She is a member in good standing of the National Court Reporters Association. She has been associated with Fraley Cooper since 1999.

Diane is happily single and loves animals. Her hobbies include traveling, exercise and cooking a great meal.

 
       
 


Jennifer (JT) Parish, RPR, graduated from Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio, and holds the designation of Registered Professional Reporter from the National Court Reporters Association.  She has been associated with Fraley Cooper since 2004.

JT resides on the east side of Columbus with her husband, Steve, and their two children.  The family also includes three dogs and one bird.  JT firmly believes in the Golden Rule:  "Treat others as you would like to be treated."

 
       


Maggie Marsh, RPR, graduated from Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio, and holds the designation of Registered Professional Reporter from the National Court Reporters Association. She has been associated with Fraley Cooper since 2003.

Maggie is also a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Ohio Dominican College in Columbus, Ohio, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. She is the proud mother of Isabella and Jack.

 
       


Michelle Douridas, RPR, graduated from the Academy of Court Reporting in Columbus, Ohio, and holds the designation of Registered Professional Reporter from the National Court Reporters Association. She also attended The Ohio State University from 1991 through 1994. Michelle is a member in good standing of the National Court Reporters Association. She has been associated with Fraley Cooper since 2005.

Michelle is married to Doug and they were blessed in December 2008 with the birth of their son, Brayden. The family regularly attends Gahanna Community Church. They also have two dogs, Aspen and Copper. Michelle loves outdoor activities, including camping and boating. She also enjoys reading and photography. Her mantra is, "May the best day of your past be the worst day of your future."

 
       


Robin Allen, RPR, graduated from Gateway Technical Institute in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Robin holds the designation of Registered Professional Reporter from the National Court Reporters Association. She is a member in good standing of the National Court Reporters Association and the Ohio Court Reporters Association. She has been associated with Fraley Cooper since 1989.

Robin and her husband, Mark, live in Gahanna, Ohio. They have two grown children. Robin's hobbies/interests are golf, sewing and quilting, reading, and a good joke.

 
       
 


Terri Pollard graduated from Parks College in Tucson, Arizona and has been a Court Reporter since 1993.  Terri held a Washington State Certification from 1994 to 1999.  She has worked in many different states and settings as a Court Reporter, including, most recently, Franklin County, Ohio, Court of Common Pleas, Domestic and General Divisions, before joining Fraley Cooper in 2001.

Terri is the proud mom of three boys, Joseph, Johnathan and Matthew.  Her family also includes a Pug named Mr. Bentley and a cat named Patches.


 
       
 
Evan


Evan Newman, CLVS, attended The Ohio State University and graduated in 1992 with a BA in communication with a specialty in telecommunication and electronic media. He has continued his education in the area of photography at Columbus State. He earned his certification as a Certified Legal Video Specialist from the National Court Reporters Association. Evan is a member in good standing in the National Court Reporters Association. Evan heads up our videography services. He also assists attorneys at trial with multimedia presentation and has had very positive results in this area, as well as creating Day In The Life presentations. When other firms have been unable to come up with a video solution for clients, Evan has been able to meet their needs.

Evan grew up in Massachusetts. In 1988, he received the honor of Eagle Scout. He lives in Columbus now. His hobbies include photography and mini-vacations.
